ABOUT US

boba lovers + business(wo)men

We're David and Tansu, partners in business and life! We're the proud co-founders of Viva La Boba, a community oriented boba shop. We grew up in the Inland Empire, so we wanted to bring the flavors of our global travels back home to a community cafe. Viva was born! We've done "tea-search" together (like "research" - get it?) in Mexico, China, Denmark, and England, and the result is a community space in Downtown San Bernardino to enjoy different, flavorful, and affordable drinks throughout your week. Tea, coffee, smoothies, slushees, freshly baked, locally made cookies - we have it all, including fun, seasonal offerings, too!

OUR FLAVORS

Globally Inspired

Rather than focusing on just the traditional, Taiwanese aspects of boba tea, we're incorporating VIVA LA BOBA into the local community, which means fun, delicious drinks like mangonadas with chili popping boba, horchata with brown sugar boba, mango passionfruit jamaica lemonades with jellies, traditional south indian chai, and so much more. We love the Inland Empire and want to celebrate the diversity of the area - not gentrify or erase community identity.

OUR LOCATION

Downtown Breezeway

The Breezeway has turned into the most happening spot in all of San Bernardino. Its central location and free, high-speed wifi makes it easy for coffee dates, business meetings, or after class hangouts. Grab some Viva then enjoy an art walk or go sneaker shopping. It's always fun to spend an afternoon in the beautiful Breezeway.

Redlands Location at 501 Orange St in Downtown Redlands coming soon!

Viva La Boba acknowledges that the land on which our facilities are sited is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Maara'yam, commonly referred to as the Serrano people, which, in the contemporary era, are represented by two federally recognized tribes: the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
