We’re David and Tansu, partners in business and life, and the proud co-founders of Viva La Boba! We started Viva because we wanted to bring high-quality, authentic boba to our hometown while building a community space where everyone feels welcome.
What makes us different? We believe great boba starts with great ingredients. We use real milk and heavy cream, tea leaves and syrups imported from Taiwan, and locally roasted coffee for the freshest flavors. Our cookies are baked fresh weekly in a local home kitchen with love.
But we’re more than just a boba shop. We’re community-driven, dedicated to serving San Bernardino, Redlands, the Inland Empire, and beyond. From supporting local artists to hosting events that bring people together, our impact extends far beyond our drinks. We are immigrant owned, queer owned, woman owned, and Asian owned 💪🏾🏳️🌈

OUR FLAVORS
Globally Inspired
Rather than focusing on just the traditional, Taiwanese aspects of boba tea, we're incorporating VIVA LA BOBA into the local community, which means fun, delicious drinks like mangonadas with chili popping boba, horchata with brown sugar boba, mango passionfruit jamaica lemonades with jellies, traditional south indian chai, and so much more. We love the Inland Empire and want to celebrate the diversity of the area - not gentrify or erase community identity.
OUR LOCATION

We are passionate about walkable downtown areas, and are privileged to be located in Downtown San Bernardino and Downtown Redlands - two vibrant communities that are easily accessible by public transportation. You can even take the train from one Viva to the other in just 15 minutes! We also have a catering trailer that serves all over Southern California for weddings, birthdays, and other special events.
